Squeee . . . Today my new toy arrived!
For years now I have said that I wanted a lightbox to do my photography. But alas I kept putting it off, kept making do with bits of fabric thrown over a chair, and trays of various materials as a background or the weeds in the backyard – often all with the help of a torch to assist with shadows – then some serious Photoshopping to get rid of those painful shadows and get the perfect photo. Yep I am sure I looked hilarious at times doing my photography. My biggest challenge with getting goods listed online has also been time – time it takes to set up a photo – wait for the sun in the right place – realise it is midnight and I really needed some more . . . well no more!
Many a time I have sat with a lightbox in my shopping cart and never clicked the checkout button thinking my scrap of white fabric will do a little bit longer. Well with the encouragement of Mr Buttons I finally took the plunge – I went through to the checkout and even paid – only thing was I didn’t buy a lightbox – but a light bed big enough to even photograph the clocks! I couldn’t be happier…. results are awesome – now just need to learn a little more about my camera . . . the necklace photo below has had no photo-retouching done to it at all – saved me 15 minutes! sweet!
